Well its getting to that time of the year again where Liverpool become linked with just about every player with two legs who has had a decent season. The main links so far have been:-

  • Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
  • Seydou Keita (Sevilla)
  • Eric Abidal (Barcelona)

Also we have heard of a host of players set for the doors already

  • John Arne Riise
  • Harry Kewell
  • Peter Crouch
  • Xabi Alonso
  • Steve Finnan

The next couple of months is going to be very interesting indeed!!

As far as out-going rumours go I am not happy about Alonso being linked with a move away from Anfield. To compete with the best we have to keep our best players and Alonso fits into that category.

Also it would be a shame if Crouch went but he will want regular first team football and there is no way that Torres could not be Liverpool’s number one striker.
